I tried to hide in the other room while my roommates gave the pilot a shot, but it was even nauseating to listen to. I guess the humor and pathos are supposed to come from our sympathy for the protagonists' naivete, but I just want to cut up their credit cards and make them sign up for food stamps. I still think the .99 cent price tag for a one item rental is a bit steep. Television has had a problem transitioning into the digital market. Netflix has done wonders getting people to watch movies online but no one watches The Simpsons or Family Guy on the computer. They need to swing people that way. Good read.
